CERAMICS FOR THE TABLE

I live in Boulder, Colorado, and work from a studio in my home. We lost our house in the Marshall fire in 2022. We rebuilt the house and studio in the same spot. I have just put my first work on-line and it is May of 2025. Happy to be back in the studio producing work.

I use a porcelain clay body and fire to 2300 F in an electric kiln.. I have always been interested in imagery on clay. I am inspired by the dishes from my past and often feel connected to the serving dishes surrounding celebrations—that mashed potato bowl of my great grandmother, or favorite coffee mug as a child. I often wonder what is about certain mugs, plates, vases that connects us and becomes a part of our lives.
